The characters belong to clamp and i'm very sorry for any inconvenience caused. short plot: This novel is taking place during the second series with yue and kero's true form ______________________________________________________________________________ ______________ Chapter 1: The first strike It was Monday morning and Sakura was walking to school with her best friend Madison. "Oh Sakura what will I tape now that you've collected all the cards?" Madison thought about this then suddenly had a sly look on her face "I know! how about your wedding" "MADISON!" Sakura shouted her face, already full of shock, going pink. 'I love teasing her' thought Madison. They reached school and immediately sat down waiting for class to begin. Chelsea walked over to them. "Good morning Chelsea." said Madison cheerfully. "Morning" she said back. "What are you up to after school?" Sakura asked "I'm going to he movies with Rita. Hey why don't you two come along?" Chelsea asked "What movie are you two going to see?" asked Madison "Heartbreak High" she replied "Hey Sakura lets go see it with them" said Madison "Sure. Is Nikki coming?" "No she's busy and she said she doesn't fancy this kind of movie" said Chelsea "Yeah she's more into monsters and ghosts and that sort of mystical and magically kind of thing" said Madison "So what time are we going?" asked Sakura "Right after school" said Chelsea. Suddenly the bell rang and the rest of they're school mates came into class. ______________________________________________________________________________ It was break time and Nikki, Sakura, Madison, Chelsea and Rita were all sat under a huge tree in the school yard. Nikki looked past the fence and looked confused "What's wrong Nikki?" asked Sakura "Nothing. I thought I saw someone looking at me" "Must have been your imagination" said Rita "Too many monster novels" said Chelsea. They all laughed. Nikki looked again 'No one there...' she thought 'Perhaps it was my imagination' ______________________________________________________________________________ The after school bell rang and the girls left the school grounds. At the penguin park Nikki went her separate way and started walking home. The other girls arrived at the cinema and went inside, got there tickets and popcorn and sat in the theatre and waited for the movie to start. "We should try to do something for Nikki" Sakura whispered "How about a sleepover?" suggested Chelsea "Yeah that's a great idea. We could stay up late and tell ghost stories" said Madison joyfully. They heard a slight whimper from Sakura "G-gg-ghost sto-stories" She spluttered. All the other girls started laughing. 'Oh man I hate ghost stories' ______________________________________________________________________________ Nikki was walking down a pretty deserted street but had a few school kids walking home from school. She noticed this one man who was wearing a huge brown overcoat which covered the lower part of his face, sunglasses, gloves and a hat. It was a strange ensemble because it was coming up to summer and today was a hot day. She turned down this street that she usually takes after school. The man also came down the street. 'Is he following me?' Nikki wondered. She decided to test that theory by walking faster. The man also started to walk faster. Nikki broke off into a run and so did the man. Nikki gasped 'Oh no he is following me! I have to get home' Nikki thought. She ran down another road she usually takes but the mans long legs gave him a great stride and he was catching up to her. She was nearing the turning to her road when a van appeared blocking the road. A man came out and smiled evily at her. Nikki gasped and ran back but "oof" she went as she hit the ground. She had forgotten about the other man and had run into him. She staggered back and a dark gloved hand covered her mouth "MMPH!" she went as she tried to scream. 'Why didn't I scream for help when I had the chance?' she thought. Tears started to appear in her eyes. She tried to struggle but she couldn't get loose of the mans tight grip. Her bag fell off and the other man grabbed Nikki's legs and they ran into the van and shut the door as it sped off. Nikki's bag was left in the deserted street. ______________________________________________________________________________ Sakura yawned as she and the other girls left the cinema. "That movie was excellent" she said while shielding her eyes to the bright sunlight that had just appeared from behind some clouds. "Hey why don't we go round Nikki's and arrange the sleepover?" Rita asked curiously "Yeah come on it won't be long but I have to get back for tea at 7:15 later" said Madison. "Yeah me too but Tori's cooking it" The girls laughed as they made there way to Nikki's house. They we're coming down one last road before Nikki's house when Sakura noticed something on the ground "Hey what's this?" she said bending over to pick it up. She gasped then dropped it. "What is it Sakura?" asked Chelsea "It's Nikki's bag" "WHAT?!" "Yeah it is" said Madison inspecting it "Perhaps she dropped it?" suggested Rita "Yeah but wouldn't Nikki or her mother notice that she didn't come home with it?" replied Madison. Chelsea nodded "I think we should take it with us" They walked round to Nikki's house and knocked on the door. Nikki's mum answered the door "Oh hello girls" "Hi ma'am" said Madison curtsying "Is Nikki home?" "Hmm no I thought she was with you girls" "Oh well we found her bag on the ground" Said Madison handing it to Nikki's mother. "This isn't like her. Tell you what you girls come over in the morning and I'll tell you all I know then" "Okay ma'am. Thank you" Madison said curtsying once more. "Very posh Madison" said Sakura "I try to make a good impression" she replied. Chelsea was thinking of where Nikki could be. "Lets meet in Penguin park tomorrow morning at 7:30 and we'll come back here" she suggested "Good idea Chelsea" Replied Sakura and they all said goodnight and left for there homes. ______________________________________________________________________________ Author: So Nikki's been kidnapped eh? well don't worry next episode I'll have a good fight go on with... well lets just say Mei-lin.
