"Good job To-ya! You caught The Cloud!" "Stop calling me To-ya. I don’t like it." Touya scowled at the other young boy with him. "Why not? It sounds almost exactly the same as your name To-ya." Touya’s eyes slanted as he stared at his companion in disapproval. "It’s not that. It’s the way you say it. I know you’re mocking me Yue." Touya signed his name at the bottom of the card and slipped it back into The Clow which he carried in his knapsack. "Are you going to change back into your other guise or not we’re going to be late for class." ‘Yue’ nodded and with a flash of light he transformed into a normal looking boy with silver hair, brown eyes and a pair of glasses along with school uniform. Touya smirked. "Ready to go Yuki?" "Gah, I don’t like that." HIs companion frowned. "Serves you right." Touya laughed as they ran towards the school. My name's Touya Kinomoto, and I’m 10 years old. I’m in my fourth grade year at Tomoeda Elementary. This is my *sort of* friend Yukito, I call him Yuki which he hates, but he calls me To-ya, so it’s fair. He’s not really human, he’s actually one of the guardians of The Clow "Yue", it’s Chinese for "The Moon." I met him about a month ago when I accidently set him free by opening The Clow which was a book in my father’s library. I also set some of the Clow Cards free at the same time, as a result I had to become a Card Captor in order to get them back. [One month ago] Sakura was crying again. For mother. Touya closed his eyes together as he went downstairs while his father went to comfort his little sister. It had only been two months since mother died. And though Touya knew he had to be strong in order to help his father with Sakura, sometimes it was difficult. Sometimes he wished he could see her again, and hear her voice. Touya.... "Mother?" Touya asked hearing the voice. He ran down the stairs into the dark library. "Mother, where are you?" He could’ve sworn he heard her. Touya searched around the darkness with his hands until his eyes fell upon a faint glow in one of the shelves in the darkness. Touya, this book.... Touya rushed over to the shelf and pulled the book off the shelf in the darkness. "Mother? Where are you? Do you want me to read this?" He whispered, as the book glowed in his hands. Looking over the design of the book he saw apicture of a Lion Creature in some kind of armor wrapped in a chain with a symbol of the sun. On the back was a person in front of a large symbol with a twelve-pointed star a sun and a moon. "What is this?" No sooner than he had uttered the words, he touched the small lock on the side and the book flapped open, the light startling him. "What is this?!" The book's pages flipped and objects resembling cards flew out. "What’s going on?!" Touya screamed as he dropped the book. The lights went on. "You let them escape!" Shouted a young voice by the light switch. "Now they’re going to cause trouble!" Touya looked in the direction of the voice to be shocked by the sight of a boy his age, wearing the strangest clothing. The other boy was a little taller than him with long silvery hair and wings wearing a robe like outfit of white, light blue and gold. His light purple eyes gleaming. "Who are you?" "I’m Yue, I’m one of the guardians of The Clow. And you," the disgruntled boy walked over the Touya and picked up the book from the floor, "let some of the Clow Cards escape!" Yue sighed. "At least it wasn’t all of them, otherwise I’d have to wake Cereberus." "Who? What are you talking about?" Touya stood up. Yue rolled his eyes not really paying attention to Touya. "I guess I’ll have to make a contract with you for a while, in order to get them back. I can’t get them myself. What’s your name?" "Touya..." <<Key of the Seal>> <<There is someone wishing to make a contract with you>> A small key came out from the book and hung in midair. <<A boy. Named Touya.>> <<Key, grant him power!>> <<RELEASE!!>> The key grew into a staff and went into Touya’s hand. "The Card Captor has been chosen." Said Yue when the light diminished. "What?!"
