The Hunters X and Zero were convicted to be buried in two capsules, never to be reactivated again. The charge, killing Dr. Wiley, even if he was a menace to the world. The day, July 6, Dr. Cain had X and Zero in his lab, preparing their systems for auto-deactivation, by an order of the judge. Dr. Cain was sure that nothing could be done, and X and Zero were not going to try to change their fate. They were ready for this since they decided to kill Wiley for the world´s fate. "I can´t allow these marvelous Reploids die just like that." Dr. Cain was trying to figure out a way to avoid X and Zero´s deactivation, but there seemed to be no way. "Come on Doc." Zero said seriously. "Don´t worry about us, just do it!" Zero´s face was pretty serious, he didn´t seem to worry. "Yeah, when we fired at Wiley, we were ready to accept whatever would come because the breaking of the First Law of Robotics." X smiled at Dr. Cain. "Ok" Dr. Cain understood that they were decided and he could do nothing about it. Dr.Cain activated the mechanism that was needed to discover the capsule. Two capsule arose from the floor. "Ok guys, lay on that shelf." X and Zero did. "Get ready, I´m going to activate the program needed to deactivate you." Dr. Cain pressed a button on the computer keyboard and several wires went from the table to X and Zero´s head. Soon, everything went blank for them. "Now I can do what I planned." Dr. Cain pressed another button on the keyboard and a hydraulic sound was made while two new capsules arose from the floor. "I was building these new Reploids as part of my secret project, but now, its purpose has been changed. I must take X and Zero´s memory chips out of them, and install them in these Reploid bodies." And so he did. Finally he finished. Dr. Cain programmed the capsules to run several testing programs, and install several upgrade chips, including a new program to avoid them from going berseck. And so, the two capsule containing X and Zero were buried.
