Well, this is a poem based on Leah-chan's "Never Meant To Be". Hope you
like it (and I hope it isn't too confusing).
Innocence
by Shinri Ayase
The stars do crumple under me
And unaware was I
The Fate's unplanned my destiny
And thus, thought I should die
So golden eyes, in memory
Though surface, they would not
Alone, I seek in reverie
To find that past forgot
Awakened in another world
Surrounded, yet alone
I find reality unfurled
And knew what I'd once known
The breezes caught and carried me
So cold, untouched by sun
I race toward that cursed Tree
My innocence undone
Though hatred, I had felt for it
My loyalty's unstained
Its one true servant I shall be
And that shall I remain
That little fairy I once was
Is gone, has been long dead
And rather than to let you die
I'll take your place instead
My one and only 'nikichan
My first and last true love
I free you from this prison cell
The curse from skies above
So I return your innocence
I'll take your bloodied hands
I now create _our_ destiny
Unlike what Fate had planned
Though cruelty's still in your blood
Much tempered it shall be
And if Fate curses anyone
I'd thank the gods it's me
I think it pleasant, cruelty
And hate me, man shall do
No longer shall I be ignored
For now, I live for you
Now live a pleasant normal life
And let me be the star
Protect your lover if you must
But let me fight this war
I now erase that Hell-damned Past
Though now, I'm thinking some...
Now that I'd shed _my_ innocence
What then, have I become?
