The Prey
by Shinri Ayase
The rain is beating down once more
And I remember HIM
It's not my sister anymore
My other half's now HIM
I watch the blossoms blown away
And I breathe in their scent
I wonder what they meant to say
I wonder what HE meant
I feel the coldness of the drops
The isolated pain
And silently the madness stops
But never would the rain
The biting wind is burning now
And losing is my will
I try but can't forget HIM now
I see his cold eyes still
I'm going back to where we met
I hope I'll find some peace
For though I have escaped our bet
I'll never be released
Because a hunter never fails
HE always gets HIS prey
I'll stay among these blossoms frail
'Til HE claims me someday
HE _will_ claim me someday
^.~ This is _my_ theory of where Subaru went. Axrynn has another, funnier
theory that I'm probably gonna post one of these days. Clue: It has
something to do with a lot of crying and digging ditches.
