Yuusuke screamed at his boss Koenma. Botan entered the room. She handed Koenma his coffee. Koenma thanked her, took a sip from his cup. Then Kuwabara burst into the room " Gosh, news, the royal house did have detectives now working on the case because it is just two weeks from Christmas now." Koenma nodded "I know." He said calmly. Yuusuke slammed his fist on Koenma's desk. "They have no faith in us. Why do they asked us to get this case then?" Koenma coughed "Yuusuke, calm down, its very usual for them to feel this insecure because its just two weeks from Christmas now and the prince got to be crowned with it in the same time with that diamond super star." Yuusuke rolled his eyes as his assistant Yukina entered the room carrying a tray of plates of cookies. She passed the first plate to Kuwabara who he thanked her again and again then complimented on the taste of the cookies before he took a bite of the biscuit. Then she passed the second plate to Botan who thanked her and got aside while Yuusuke was starting the verbal battle with Koenma. Koenma was not going to give up in urging Yuusuke to work on it. At last Koenma won, and Yuusuke agreed to do it with a grunt. Koenma showed Kuwabara and Yuusuke that royal house detective's picture, because they have to work with the detectives. Kuwabara stared at the two guys, the first one have black hair and violet eyes and was not smiling. The other one has golden eyes, cream blonde hair and had a friendly smile on his face. Kuwabara asked "Aren't they just as young as us?" Yuusuke nodded "and tons more handsome than Kuwabara." Kuwabara gritted his teeth but will not punch any one in front of Yukina. Botan had a strange smile on her face while Koenma nodded "It is the truth. You have to work with these two people, the one with black hair was called Lantis and the one with blonde hair was called Eagle." Yuusuke nodded. "We got a new student here, in the thirteenth grade, he was the skating champion of this year. He was called Ferio, and looked much cuter than on television." A girl whispered to another one in the library. Umi's fencing club and Hikaru's kendo club both got practices and Kaori just disappears. Fuu was now studying alone in the school library. Kaori can't find Fuu's necklace after two months. Fuu sighed as she thought about that day two months ago, she kept on thinking back to the green head and his hair style. Just then a male voice asked "May I sit here?" Fuu said without looking up "Yes." She went back to her studying when she felt that eyes stabbed into her back and another pair of eyes were staring at her face. "You have got your glasses fixed?" Fuu looked at the boy sitting beside her. The boy smiled at her then looked around they were being stared at. He took her hand, got her school bag then ran out of the library. Fuu asked "where are we going now?" the boy continued to pull her out of the school. He stopped when they were outside. "What are you doing?" Fuu asked. He smiled "We needed some privacy." Fuu smiled "I thought you were used to the lack of privacy." "Why did you say that?" Ferio asked grinning. "Just because you were the skating champion, you were used to have reporters around you." Ferio laughed "Well, I want some now." Fuu asked "What's the matter?" Ferio pulled a necklace out of his pocket "I got your necklace." He said. Fuu was surprised and asked "Where did you find it?" Ferio said "You left it hanging on one of my buttons when you fell on me." He pulled a new chain out of his breast pocket and put the pendent through the chain. He then put it on her. She was blushing. "Why didn't you call me?" Ferio asked. Fuu bit her lip. Ferio smiled and said "Its all right, I'll drive you home." They then walked to Ferio's sedan. In the journey no one said a word, Ferio kept his eyes on the road. Fuu told him to stop in front of a house with a huge garden. He got her school bag from the back seat. Walked her to the front porch of her house. She bowed "Thanks for the ride." He rubbed his neck "Well, Its nice to see you again." He knelt in front of her. Fuu stepped back to the door. He took her hand then kissed it. He then rushed back to his car then drove off. Fuu was burning all over. Muttering to herself "Ferio…" Umi cried "The super star was lost!" The four of them were in the canteen in the school the next day. Fuu asked "The diamond your brother has to wear in Christmas the day he was crowned?" Umi asked "What could we do?" Hikaru said "We can help to find the diamond then." Umi sighed "Its not that easy." Fuu asked "Is that a big one set on a ring?" Umi nodded "This ring was not found in the room yesterday." Fuu said "Can we check the computers?" Umi sighed "That guy went on to holidays a week ago." Umi then looked at Fuu "Hey, Fuu-chan, I knew you know how to get those computers work. Check it please!" Fuu's hands was in Umi's and a big sweat drop was on her head. She nodded reluctantly. Umi threw her arms around her "Thank you." Just as Umi let go, she spotted Ferio. Then she smiled teasingly at Fuu. Ferio smiled at Fuu then winked at her. Fuu blushed. Umi called "Ferio, got time tonight?" Ferio asked "For what?" Umi called "A date with Fuu-chan." Fuu's eyes widened. Ferio smiled "I'm free whenever she wants to have a date." Fuu blushed then bit her lip. Hikaru asked "What is this for?" Umi said "Fuu will come to my home and have a look at the computers tonight, will you come as well, then after the investigation, you could have the date with her." Ferio looked at her "For the lost super star?" Umi asked "How did you know?" Ferio smiled and said "Everyone who read the news knew this." Umi sighed. "Count me in." Ferio called as he blew a kiss to Fuu. Fuu looked away. Umi sighed again "Why did Fuu get someone's who's so easy going and will not blush whenever you sat a little closer or him or held his hands." Kaori asked "Ascot blushed every time when you sat closer to him or held his hands?" Umi nodded then buried her face in her arms. Umi first led the four people into the room where the super star has been. Fuu looked around, Lantis and Eagle were in the room. They bowed to Umi. Eagle smiled and greeted them warmly. "Why are you here Ferio? And what about you, Kaori?" Lantis asked. Kaori said avoiding Eagle from playing with her hair "Umi asked us to be here." Ferio nodded. Lantis smiled at Ferio "Getting along well in school?" Ferio nodded. Hikaru asked "You two knew each other?" Lantis smiled "Yes, we knew each other a year ago in Autozam. He was learning how to use the new floating skates there and we got a chance to meet in the skating rink. He taught me how to skate. We have been writing to each other or have talks over the phone. This time he asked me if I can get him into your school so he could be with some girl he met and fell in love after first sight." Ferio smiled. Fuu stared at Ferio. Ferio said "I have found her." Lantis asked "Who is it?" Ferio put his hand on Fuu's shoulder. Lantis smiled then shook Fuu's hand. "Nice to meet you." Fuu blushed, but still to be polite she shook Lantis's hand. Hikaru stared at Hikaru. "Nice to meet you too. Kaori's friend." Hikaru shook it, his grip was firm, his hand big and warm. Suddenly two men and a girl all of them about eighteen or nineteen entered the room. Yuusuke the boy leading the other tall guy and the pretty girl showed Umi his police I.D card. Umi nodded. Fuu looked at the floor, then spotted some hair laying on the floor and some leaves. Fuu called "Look, Everyone, there were leaves on the floor." The police and the detectives rushed to it immediately. "Yukina, get the samples." Yukina's the pretty girl who was Yuusuke's assistant produced some plastic bag out of her back pack. Lantis looked at the smaller white hair. Then at the strands of long silver hair that was laying on the floor. Lantis said "This came from different sources." Yukina noted that down on her note pad. Kuwabara carefully picked up the evidence and put it in the bag. Yukina then put the evidence in the back pack. Hikaru asked Eagle "Why are you two here then?" Eagle smiled and said "We are the royal house detectives, working on this case." Hikaru nodded as her gaze drifted into Eagle's eyes. So clear, she thought. Yuusuke looked at the room "There was a window, a burglar could come in from here." Fuu walked further into the room, then took a look at the window asked Kuwabara "Kuwabara-san, can you take a look at the bars for me, since you are much taller." Kuwabara nodded as he looked at it. "It was newly painted, I guess." Fuu nodded "I guess the same." Everyone looked at her. Fuu said thoughtfully "The burglar could not have entered this room in that way. Or else there would be prints on the bars." Kaori asked "What about the burglars repainted it then when they have took the bars off and replaced them?" Fuu smiled " That was a good idea, but then the paint would not be that dry. This looked at it it was painted three days ago, if it was repainted yesterday, it would still be dripping wet." Eagle nodded " That made sense." Fuu looked around. Hiei whispered on the roof of the tower in Kurama (more known as Shuuichi's) ear "That girl seemed to guess our movements." Kurama nodded "Clever for a human girl." Hiei said "She guessed our movements, but could she guess the real burglar who stole the diamond?" Kurama asked "What do you think?" Hiei gritted his teeth, "The bastard who got in front of us and laid his hands on our prey. And left no youki to trace. We can't even guess it, can a human do it?" Kurama nodded. Without saying a word. "Looked as if our sister Hikaru was into this as well." Hiei and Kurama was on the roof of the tower listening to the police taking part in their investigation. Soon the police forces and the detectives left. Eagle said that the detectives could get home now, so Eagle and Kaori walked home while Lantis was appointed to take Hikaru home by Eagle. Lantis led Hikaru to his motor cycle. While Ferio said he would take Fuu home. Fuu didn't seem to like his idea but since its getting dark, she agreed. Lantis handed Hikaru the helmet, Hikaru put it on. Lantis said softly "Hold on tight, don't fall." Hikaru nodded. They sped off. Ferio said "I didn't have my car, we'll walk, all right?" Fuu nodded. Ferio opened the door of the room for her then led her out of the palace. Hikaru held really tight onto Lantis, Lantis didn't say a word to her, she was a bit nervous because he was so cold, but then she heard bells ringing. Lantis stopped to see Eagle riding up to him on a bicycle, pedaling in full speed. Lantis asked "Eagle, why are you here?" Kaori called from the back "To chat with you." Eagle gave Hikaru a pat on her shoulder "Don't be scared of Lantis even he talks so little, he was just shy, he never allowed girls aside from Kaori to ride on his motor cycle, so that means he really likes you." Lantis blushed under the helmet. Hikaru smiled though she was blushing as well. Eagle said again "Got to go and get to the market now." At this he pedaled off in full speed again. Hikaru exclaimed "He's real fast." Lantis said "Its fast because he put a motor on his bicycle." Hikaru asked "Who did this for him?" Lantis replied "Zazu, a mechanic, believe it or not, that boy was just as old as you are." Hikaru smiled, at last Lantis wanted to talk to her. He stopped in front of Hikaru's house's gate "Thank you for the ride." Hikaru smiled then unlocked the front gate. Lantis called "Bye, Hikaru."
