Kuwabara reported this to Koenma. "I think she was right." Koenma concluded, reading all the evidence the detectives of the royal house have given so far. "We could set Shuuichi free." The doctor said "The cut was deep, but still manageable, he loses a lot of blood, so he's now still unconscious. You can get in a have a look at him. And, if he woke up tomorrow, he could go, there were really nothing wrong with him now." A nurse said with a smile "The patient said something like 'Umi…Are you all right' all the time." Umi nodded in relieve, blushed then smiled. She said to Princess Emeraude "I'm going in, so suit yourself." She then ran into the room. "Its so good to see that Ferio finally decided to get out of his skating team for a girl." Princess Emeraude said smiling at Fuu. Fuu asked "He quitted?" Princess Emeraude said "He went back to me and told me the news, he said that he wanted to quit because he wanted to be with the girl he loves." Fuu blushed. She smiled, at least he is still living and will get well. "He is, he woke up awhile ago, he had to stay here until twelve next morning for the last check up, then he can go." Princess Emeraude asked "Can we go in and have a look at him?" The doctor said "Yeah, he muttered his girl friend's name all the time during the surgery, is she here?" Hikaru giggled "Way to go, Fuu-chan." She said. Fuu blushed "Oh, here you are, the one who nearly kills herself." The doctor said with a smile. Hikaru gave Fuu a push. "Get in and have a look at him." She said smiling happily. "Is it all right to leave you here all alone?" Fuu asked worriedly. "Lantis's here. By the way, I'm really happy that you got him." Hikaru smiled back. Lantis walked over to Hikaru "Go in, Fuu, I think Ferio wants to see you." He said. Fuu nodded as she followed Princess Emeraude into the room. "Sister, Fuu." Ferio said giving them a grin. "Ferio, are you feeling well?" Princess Emeraude asked giving him a kind smile. "I'm all right, that blade didn't cut in really that deeply." Ferio said assuring his sister. "I guess so." His sister said smiling. Ferio smiled at Fuu. "How's your neck?" He asked reaching out for her. She blushed. Princess Emeraude smiled "I think I'd better leave now. Zagato would kill me if I'm late for the detectives' meeting his little sister held tonight." Princess Emeraude said "Don't worry about the case, my brother in law Eagle and sister in law Kaori had worked out the best theory." Princess Emeraude walked to the car. Zagato at the driver seat asked "How's Ferio and Ascot?" Emeraude smiled and said "Pretty well." Zagato asked ask he drove off "How about Hiei and Ferio's girl friend? I have heard that Hiei cut her neck." Princess Emeraude said " That Hiei woke up and was in the police station now with his brother Shuuichi. Hikaru, their sister was having a hard time, I can see it, but still she put on a strong face to her friends. She was a good girl. As for Fuu, its true that she got a cut in her neck, but it was just a scratch, well, deeper than I thought, but still she didn't need to wear a bandage around her neck." Zagato said "Its good then." Princess Emeraude nodded "Ferio leaving the skating team for Fuu." She muttered smiling to herself. Fuu walked over to him with a little scowl on her face. "Still painful?" She asked quietly. And I have known Ferio for a long time he would be kind enough not to sue him as long as Fuu would sweet talk him for you. But I'm sure even if Fuu didn't sweet talk him, he wouldn't do it since he never liked to be into that sort of troubles that included lawyers." Hikaru asked "What about Ascot?" Lantis assured her "Though I have never known him for long, I think he could forgive people quite easily. At least he creates an image like that." Hikaru nodded. Hikaru smiled as she fell asleep, all the excitement of the day tired her out, and its eleven already. Lantis carried her off then he drove her back to her house. "You have just finished your twentieth cup of coffee, you still want more?" Kaori exclaimed. Eagle asked "Who told you to hold those sort of meeting!" Eagle yawned "I'm tired!" Kaori said "Wake up!" Eagle said "Give me coffee then. You can tell them our theory without me!" Kaori said "You must be here! Please!" Kaori gave him a very little girl look. "Give me another cup of coffee then." Eagle said. "All right." Kaori said. The doorbell rang, Kaori went to it. "Hi, Zagato, Emeraude sensai." Kaori called. "No one's here aside from us?" Zagato asked Eagle said "Everyone was gone to take care of their friends in the hospital." Emeraude said "It is true, nearly all the people who were involved in the case were in the hospital. And the police force was going to question Hiei tonight. Hiei would be in jail if either Fuu, Ferio or Ascot decided to sue him." "That means he won't go to jail." Kaori concluded. "Why?" Zagato asked. Eagle said sipping his coffee, folded his legs on the sofa in his living room "Fuu would not do it because she won't want to hurt Hikaru, Ferio hated lawyers and Ascot didn't like publicity." "Oh." Zagato said. "Our theory is this." Eagle began. "The thief didn't get into the room by the window like all of us thought. He went into it by the air duct. So that is the reason that there were no marks in the window's bars. And the door was not forced." Zagato nodded "That made sense, But what about the ray of light in the picture Fuu-san found?" he asked. Kaori said "That was something the blind policeman and the blind detectives did not notice. There was a glass case in the room that sends reflection ray. And from the angle of the stupid camera, it took only the picture of the reflected ray and not the incoming ray." Zagato nodded "You found that out?" he asked Kaori. Kaori nodded. "I saw the glass case since I'm not as blind as they are." Eagle asked her "Who said that I'm blind?" Kaori said "Me!" Zagato asked then "That means…" Kaori said as Mokona jumped into her arms. She held Mokona. "This is the thief." She said shoving Mokona in front of her. Mokona let out a loud and proud "Puu…!" Zagato stared at the little animal. "Kaori…Eagle…" He said. Eagle said "Don't think that we are losing it. We have prove for this." Kaori said "We have once went back to the palace to investigate about our theory. Umi said that a white blur was seen outside the window of that room. That is why it made us believe that the thief came in from the window. But then, Eagle and I have found out that the opening of the air duct was actually under that window." Eagle carried on "And more hair was found inside." Kaori said "We then ran up to the room again. There were hair in that side of the opening as well. We also found out that the only camera in the room was set next to the air duct, so its not a surprise that it could not take the pictures of the air duct. By the way, everyone of them thought that it was such a small opening that no body could get through. So they didn't bother to put another camera there." Zagato nodded. Emeraude then asked "What about that strange ray?" Eagle said "That needed some demonstration." Mokona jumped on the floor when Kaori put some sweets on the floor. "Demonstrate how you could get the super star." Kaori said softly to Mokona. Mokona nodded then gave another "Puupuu!" sound. The red crystal on Mokona's forehead started to glow. Then a ray of light appeared that aimed straight at the sweets. As if by miracle the sweets floated to the air for a moment. Mokona then ran around the house. The sweets followed for a moment, but then dropped on the ground. Mokona left the sweets then jumped back into Kaori's arms. Zagato stared in amazement. "So this…" he stammered. Eagle said "We brought the hair we found in the air duct and we cut some hair off Mokona. The investigation headquarters found out that those hairs were identical to the ones Fuu found on the floor." Emeraude asked "That means that the diamond was in this house?" Eagle shook his head sadly. "No, it was in the snow, I think. Mokona could not hold that for long. You have seen him dropping the sweets. Its just like how he dropped the sweets, he dropped the diamond in the snow." "Where are we going to look for it now?" Eagle's head hit the table and fell asleep. "I don't know."
