Cherry was curing Fuu's wound with her spells, but looked as if with Cherry's skills, she was much better at fighting than taking care at her wounds. Since Fuu can't take so much magic in her body, she had to wait for a while before she could cure it with her own spells. In the mean time, Ferio was carrying her everywhere, except the toilet, that is. Fuu didn't approve of it, but she was happy about the fact that he did care about her. They were in Clef's studies, Clef were talking to the duke, Evie and Jack about their organization, the duke decided to stay there since he knew that the witch hunters were aiming at his daughter, though he refused to say that his daughter was a witch. Jack had planned onto getting more training in order to protect Evie. Just as the meeting ended. Clef gave Fuu a walking stick so she wouldn't have to be carried by Ferio everywhere. Just as they were planning to go, Clef said "Time to get Ferio to tell our new guests about yourself." Ferio asked "About my wife?" Clef said "I don't think you have a wife." Ferio sighed as he stood up "It was true that I don't have a wife. I lied all along so that I don't have to marry the duchess, Evie, I didn't mean it as an insult, but its that Jack loved you so much. And that I too have someone I love." Cherry said "Everyone knew that you have someone you love, the way you held Fuu-chan in your arms when she loses her conscious." Fuu blushed. Ferio seemed to be pleased that someone noticed it, but he too blush, since Cherry could be very embarrassing at times, she just didn't know that she was making people blush. The duke gave Ferio a pat on the shoulder "I don't care, I liked you, your love and your little pink head friend." He then got out. Cherry went out to have a sleep when Jack was leading Evie away, Evie gave Ferio a look, long and hopeful. Ferio helped Fuu to her stick and brought her to her room before he went to his to get a good sleep. He first woken up because of a few knocks. He was afraid that it might be Fuu coming to him, so he went to open it. He found Evie standing there shyly. He asked "What can I do for you?" Evie smiled "I wanted to give you this." She shoved him a letter then ran away. Ferio opened it and have a look. A love letter. He was totally shocked. He didn't know what to do, He knew that he would ruin the relationship between Fuu and him, hurt Jack's feelings because he loved Evie so much. He would hurt Evie because he never loved her, he showed it to her clearly, but she didn't seem to get his message clearly or that she still think he worth a try. He dumped the letter with his pile of dirty clothes on his table. Then went back to bed. He then woke again. Another knock, less insistent, very soft. He went to the door again, Fuu was standing there, smiling at him, "I wonder would you like to chat with me for a while..." her words were faster than her eyes, she noticed that he was in his night clothes "Oh, I guess I'm keeping you from your sleep, I'll go now." She said softly, turned and stagger away with her stick. Ferio held her by the arm. Her smile was so sweet that he can't refuse her. "Never mind, come in first." He held her softly, she turned "You're having your sleep, you lose sleep last night." She said. He said "I have slept, I can always sleep again when you're gone or maybe fell asleep when you're talking." Fuu smiled "Thank you, Ferio." Ferio smiled over his shoulder as he went to the toilet to wash his face. Fuu was looking at the pile of clothing on Ferio's table. She went to it, leaning on her stick, she started to sort out Ferio's clothes, even though she was leaning on her stick it was still reasonably easy. Just then she found a letter. She knew it was not good to look at other people's letters, but since it was unfolded and not in an envelope, she read it. She felt wobbly all over, Evie was in love with Ferio. She slide down from her feet, losing her grip from her stick. Ferio came back and to his surprise he saw that Fuu was on the floor, blood gushing out of her wound. Ferio rushed to her, carried her to his bed, untied the handkerchief that was soaked with blood. Fuu asked him "Evie was in love with you?" Ferio said "You read my letters?" Fuu apologized. Ferio said "you don't have to, I knew you didn't do it on purpose." Fuu nodded. Ferio said "I guess she was a little mixed up." He got clean bandage out of his drawer, Fuu got his hand "What do you plan to do?" Ferio said "Be honest with her." Fuu remarked "It will hurt Evie-san terribly." She didn't know what to say. Ferio said "I know, I have no intentions to hurt her, I just want to be fair with her and you." Fuu asked "me?" Ferio sat on the bed beside her, leaned close to her. "Do you want to share your boyfriend with someone else?" Fuu lowered her head. Ferio went back to his bandaging. Fuu said quietly "I think Cherry's magic faded away now, I can use my magic now." She used the Iyashi no kaze. The wound got cured instantly. Ferio put his bandage back to his drawer. Fuu asked again "Don't hurt her, please?" Ferio said "I'm not trying to hurt her, she was just spending her rebellious age now. She won't get too hurt once she saw through it." Fuu held on to him "Am I spending my rebellious age with you then?" she asked burying her face in his arm to hide the blush. He said "No, you're not, I'm not either." He said held her close to him, stroking her hair.Cherry was sleeping, her sleep was anything but happy. She was in a wood, probably the forest of Silence with Apple beside her. They were looking for something. When they reached a shrine like building, they saw guards guarding it. They discussed what to do, they spotted a little cave standing out of no where. Apple said "Better see what's inside." Cherry nodded, Apple didn't make any dirty remarks so far she knew him, well she saw him making dirty remarks some time ago, it was just that he didn't make any to her. They walked into the tunnel of the cave, it was small narrow and very steep yet there were steps in it, steps with a fence that was carved with geometrical patterns. Cherry traced them with her fingers, there were symbols hiding in the patterns, but she couldn't make out what the patterns were aside from the fact that it was swiggly. They continued down the fleet of steps until it led them to a bare room, there were wooden floor boards and there were nothing more aside from four white walls standing there. Apple asked "Is this the place?" Cherry nodded "Probably." They saw a door leading off to another room. They opened the door and went in. It was the most beautiful sight they ever saw, it was a bare white room, the walls in the room was so white that it seemed to glow, and in the middle of the room, there was a white gemstone floating in the mid air. It was all white with sparkles on it. It was in the same shape as a six point star. They tried to get near it to have a better look. But something stopped them. A wall, kekai that protected the jewel, protected the door of heaven. From the far distance they admired the Jewel, it was certainly the most beautiful thing they ever saw. Just as they were looking at the jewel, the door flew open and several man charged in. With spears in their hands, they were huge in size, the witch hunters, were there, and all they wanted to do was to kill them. The hunters were chanting some strange words in an ugly rhythm. They were advancing them. Cherry and Apple was defenseless since they were in the forest of silence, they were not able to use a spell. They dodge away from some of the attacks but the two of them got injured, Cherry's forehead was bleeding and so was Apple's shoulder. Apple cried "Get into the kekai!" Cherry shouted back to him "I can't" Apple cried "Try." Cherry tried, but nothing happened. They felt a strange presence in the room suddenly, all the witch hunters' eyes started to glow. And they were more fierce than before. Cherry's forehead was bleeding non stop, the blood from her forehead has blocked her view from the whole room. She continued to try to break the kekai off, so there would be more place or maybe the door of heaven could save them. Suddenly a spear came down at her back, it was coming, closer, closer, Cherry turned, closed her eyes shut and prepared to die. She waited, everything turned silent, one second gone by, two seconds gone by, she heard a scream, painful but real, it was ringing in her ears. Not her scream she was not painful, but she saw Apple was lying on her feet a spear through his heart. Cherry shivered, some of the her life was leaving her, half of her life, Apple died, she other half died. She was attacked, a sword cut into her chest, she the warm blood gushing out of her wound. She didn't feel the pain, she was dying. Before she closed her eyes, she saw a black gown, flowing lightly though there were no wind or even a little breeze in the air. Something was dripping down that gown. She looked up, it was blood, dripping from a body, a dead body. She used her last strength to look at the corpse. It was the corpse with blonde hair, in a white shirt that was soaked with blood now. Fuu's body the figure in the black gown was carrying. Cherry died before she could see the figure's face. Cherry felt that someone was shaking her from her sleep. She opened her eyes, it was Apple. He was shaking her by the shoulders. Cherry woke up. Apple asked "You having a bad dream?" Cherry nodded "A bad dream, worst dream I ever had in my life." Apple said "Being in bed with an unknown man?" Cherry was all red in the face "Not this kind of thing! Apple, can you please use your brain in a cleaner way?" Apple held his hand up "All right, What's the dream then?" Cherry said "I got killed!" Apple laughed "Who could kill you?" Cherry said "Don't laugh! The witch hunters did! And they killed you too." Apple said "I'm not a female, why should they kill me?" Cherry said "How do I know?" Apple laughed "It's just a dream, that's why, you were having a bad night last night." Cherry nodded "Maybe.... By the way, why are you here in my room?" Apple said "D o you know you sleep walk? You walked into my room! So I put you on my back, and carried you back here." Cherry was embarrassed "I sleep walk?" Apple said "Yes you do, perhaps you should lock your door when you sleep."
