Sigh... where should I begin...? There are the basic characters in here.
Plus a few new ones. If you don't like it, just tell me so... If you like
it, just tell me so also...

Chapter 1: The Twilight Zone
Susan and Hiyana walked to school on that Friday morning, slowly.
They were so very bored. They were freshmens at Johnson High. The school
year had gone by fast since September, and now it was already June, the last
week of school. A whole week of exams had them pooped and they just wanted
to enjoy the serenity of life as the thought of school slowly diminished.
"Man, I can't wait 'till we get out of here...", Susan mumbled.
"You read my mind...", Hiyana said lamely.
They walked into the building, carrying their backpacks. Susan was
glad there had been no homework over the past few days, she felt too drained
to do anymore. Hiyana, on the other hand, was just too lazy. They went to
Susan's locker on the first floor.
"Let's see... 13, 27, 45...", Susan counted.
She opened her locker and took out her cap and a volleyball.
"What's a volleyball doing in your locker, Susan?", Hiyana asked.
"I dunno. I just felt like sticking it in there.", Susan answered.
"Well, let's go to gym class before we're late.", Hiyana urged.
Susan shut her locker, and followed Hiyana downstairs to the locker
room.
"Where are those two?", Alisabeth asked herself.
"They're probably late... again.", Daniel answered her.
Susan and Hiyana walked up the stairs to the gymnasium. How they
wished school was over with already. They reached the top of the stairs and
Alisabeth came at them.
"You guys are late again. Now hurry up, I want as much time there
is to play volleyball.", she yelled.
"Cool your jets, Ellie.", said Susan.
Hiyana and Susan reached the volleyball courts and took their places.
After class, Susan and Hiyana walked down the stairs to the gym
lockers. Of course, they were last, as always. As the door closed before
Susan and Hiyana got there, Susan felt her skin crawl. She stopped walking,
and listened.
"Susan? Is there something wrong?", asked Hiyana.
"I don't know... I just... oh, never mind. Let's hurry.", said Susan.
As Hiyana reached the bottom step, a bright light filled the
stairway and a hole opened up, trapping them. Hiyana yelped as she
accidently slipped her foot and fell into the hole.
"Hiyana!", Susan shouted.
And without thinking, Susan jumped into the hole after her. They
were falling endlessly. Susan could see Hiyana up ahead, so she dived,
making herself fall faster. She caught up to Hiyana, and grabbed her hand.
"Hold on!", Susan shouted, she was too frightened to do anything
actually.
They just kept falling and falling, until another bright light
knocked them both unconscious.
"Uhn...", said Susan.
Susan woke up slowly, her whole body ached. She opened her eyes as
a bright light shined down on her. She turned over onto her back.
Suddenly, she felt grass under her hands. Susan panicked and sat up,
confused and dazed. She looked around. She saw mountains in the distance,
and rolling hills.
"Where am I?", she asked herself.
Susan saw Hiyana not far away. She made herself get up and walked
over to her. Hiyana was out. Susan felt Hiyana's pulse, just to make sure.
Then she sat down and tried to put together what had happened. She'd fallen
through what seemed like a hole... but why had they been falling for what
seemed like an eternity? she couldn't figure it out.
"Susan...?", Hiyana called weakly.
Susan turned to find Hiyana awake.
"Hiyana, are you feeling okay?", Susan asked.
She nodded. Susan helped her to her feet.
"Where are we?", she asked.
"...the Twilight Zone? But for real, I don't know. I don't know
any place that looks like this... I don't think we're in Minnesota
anymore...", Susan answered.
"Stop joking around, this is serious... I see a city thing up ahead,
let's go find a telephone.", said Hiyana.
"Good grief... all right, let's go.", said Susan.
They both started walking towards the city. The place they were in
felt so strange and foreign to Susan. Even though Susan had a strong
instinct, she couldn't tell if they were still on earth. She knew she
wasn't dreaming, she knew this was for real.
"Hiyana, what if we're not on earth? What if this is for real?",
Susan asked.
"No, we couldn't be on another planet. But, hey, it's not like we
fell into a portal. You must have been watching too many animes, Susan.",
she answered.
"But, I... feel so strange here... as if we don't belong here,
Hiyana. What if we really did fell into a portal? I mean, anything is
possible, right?", Susan asked.
"Like I said, you have been watching too many animes. You even fall
in love with anime men. Let's just get to a payphone, I don't like this
place. It gives me a bad feeling.", said Hiyana.
They approached the city closer now. As they descended upon a
cliff, they both gasped at what they saw.
"This is...", Hiyana gasped.
Susan narrowed her eyes, trying to get a better look at the very
tall skyscraper that stood out from the rest of the city. Then, like
lightning, she recognized the place. Susan gasped and turned to Hiyana.
"You won't believe what I'm about to say...", said Susan.
"What!? Tell me!", she urged.
"Okay, I need to calm down first! Hiyana, you don't know where we
are, but I do.", said Susan.
"Oh? Go on...", she said.
"We're in Tenkai. We're in the world of RG Veda... And that
building, the one that looks like a giant castle, that's Zenmi Castle...
We've been transported into another world!", Susan said, trying to hold back
her excitement.
"You're kidding me...", Hiyana asked.
"I'm afraid not.", Susan answered.
"No way... So that means... we get to meet all those people you
jabber about all the time at school...", Hiyana said slowly.
"But I don't know where in the story we are right now... We could be
about anywhere... I just hope we don't run into any trouble...", said Susan.
"Trouble?", Hiyana repeated.
"You haven't seen any of the OAVs or mangas, so I suggest you stay
out of trouble. Most of all, don't trust anyone.", Susan warned.
"Oh, so what do we do now?", Hiyana asked.
To be continued....
Well, that's how far I got this time. I dunno if you like it so
much but it's a start. Send me your comments.
Jya-ne!
