RG Veda The Golden Warriors Part 13 Chapter 13: True Lies Silence. Susan was alone with Yasha-ou, just the two of them. She swallowed, watching Yasha-ou. "...I...I think I can...", she whispered. Yasha-ou's eyes softened. Then he leaned forward to meet her lips. Susan awoke slowly, she could hear slurred speech somewhere. "Uhn...", she moaned as she forced herself to get up. She looked down at Yasha-ou who lay beside her, deep in sleep. She blushed as she remembered where last night's kiss led to. Susan got dressed quickly and made sure she didn't disturb Yasha-ou. Then she sat in a chair nearby and waited for him to awaken while she looked him over. Hiyana was in a deep sleep. Ashura had slept soundlessly after the hard fishing they did and had curled up beside Hiyana. Kujaku slept sprawled, his leg over Hiyana and his arms over Ashura. Karura-ou was sleeping in a chair nearby and Ryu-ou was asleep well far from Ashura. Oddly, Susan kept drifting off to sleep. Unable to keep awake, she gave into her slumber. "Susan... Susan...", called a voice. Susan was in her dream, she was surrounded by a mist. "Who's there?", she called out. Then a dark figure appeared, tall, slender, and feminine. Susan approached it cautiously. As she came closer, the figure became more recognizable. It was a mirror image of herself, but in a way, it wasn't either. Chills ran down Susan's spine, deathly cold. Susan leaped away. The figure chuckled. Then her head raised, and light showed Susan who it was. It was herself. "So nice to meet myself like this.", said the look-alike. Susan was shocked. "W-who're you?!", Susan snapped. Susan's reflection smiled ominously. She looked just like her except for some differences... Her eyes were of a red color, Susan's were a dark brown, and her hair was down, flowing behind her freely, Susan's was tied back. "Oh yes, I am you.", she said. "...No you're not...", said Susan boldly. "Allow me to demonstrate my proof of our relationship.", said the mirror image. She lifted her arm and pointed at Susan. Then a blast of yellow light shot out and hit Susan in the chest, knocking her back. Susan got up from the ground, annoyed. Her mirror image smirked. "Remember, Susan, we Espers have no use for weaklings. But you're even weaker than Hiyana...", she chided. Susan shot up at the remark. "Hiyana never said that!", Susan snapped. "Hmph, tell her to get out of the way before she regrets it.", the mirror image threatened. "You leave her alone.", Susan hissed. "Just show me how powerful you really are.", said the image. "Susan?!", shouted a voice. Susan looked around. It was Yasha-ou. Was he in her dream? "Yasha?", she called. "You won't be able to last in that feeble state for long. Your love for him will die, and you will revert into your raw nature.", said the mirror image. "I don't what you're talking about.", Susan hissed. The mirror image of Susan chuckled evily, giving Susan a hard stare, then she vanished, the sound of glass shattering was all that was left... Susan awoke, startled. 'My memories...' She felt a hand on her forehead and looked about to find Yasha-ou kneeling by her side on the bed. "Susan, are you all right?", he asked, worried. "...Y-Yeah...", she answered. "A nightmare?", Yasha-ou asked. "...I don't know...but, I saw an eye open into the darkness...", Susan answered, as she turned to stare at Yasha-ou. Yasha-ou froze. 'What did she mean?' "Someone is calling to me... telepathically... but I don't know who it is...", said Susan. "Is it Hiyana?", Yasha-ou asked. Susan shook her head. "I don't know who it is...", she repeated. Hiyana awoke with a start. Her breathing was a bit labored. 'What's going on?' She got up and went outside. "Raw nature... what could she mean by that?", Susan asked herself. "Oi, so how was it?", Hiyana asked, coming up behind Susan. Susan turned around, trying to stop blushing. "W-What do you mean?", Susan asked. "Don't play dumb. You and him were in there ALL night...", said Hiyana. "...We didn't do anything.", Susan lied. Hiyana grabbed Susan and stared at her. "You're kidding...right?", she asked. "We didn't do anything!", Susan yelled. "But I was so sure!", Hiyana yelled back. Silence all of a sudden. "Um, do you think you could let go of me now?", Susan asked. "Oh, hehehe, sorry.", said Hiyana as she let go of Susan. Susan fell to the ground. Hiyana flashed a smile and sat opposite of her. She looked sheepish. Susan cleared her throat and sat up. "Ahem, so, what's up with you this morning?", Susan asked. "Ah...ahehehe...me? Weeeeell, now....", Hiyana tried to stall. "Stop stalling me, get to the point.", said Susan. "Well, hehehe, you never want to sleep near Kujaku. That's for sure.", said Hiyana. "Oooooh, so this is what it's all about... I see... heheheh, you have a crush on Kujaku, don'tcha?", Susan teased. Hiyana turned pink and Susan fell over, laughing. "I have a bad feeling about this.", said Karura-ou. "If this is where Shurato led us, the sixth star should be inside.", said Yasha-ou. The six stars along with Hiyana and Susan look up to the looming Zenmijou as they make their way into the castle. TO BE CONTINUED ONCE AGAIN....... Next time: Kuyou's prophecy is revealed and the shattering events take on a roll. Taishakuten and Susan's deal may be more than what they bargained for! And who is the mirror image of Susan?
