Imagine, just imagine, that there was no war in RG Veda, but relations between the characters are still the same. 2. Imagine that no one died in Gundam Wing and that five years had passed after the war. Chapter 1 : Back in Time "Wanna join us, Anna?" Duo, who was happily playing on the yacht, asked. "No thanks, I'll get sea sick," answered Anna. "What about the rest of you girls?" Duo continued. "I'm coming along," said Katherine excitedly, running towards the yacht. This was going to be her first time on a yacht. "Relena?" asked Milliard. "No, thank you, brother. Have fun, goodbye," answered Relena. "Goodbye, Relena," said Milliard. "We are going to play here!" shouted the other girls from afar. "Goodbye, girls!" shouted Quatre and Duo, waving goodbye from the yacht which was moving southwards. "Goodbye, guys!" shouted the girls. "Heero, Wufei and Treize, can't you guys at least wave a hand or something?" Duo demanded, looking over at the three of them. They were staring out at the sea, deliberately ignoring everyone. "They are not important to me," said Heero. "Then what about Relena?" Duo countered slyly, emphasising word "Relena". Heero turned bright red with annoyance and the rest of the people on board laughed. Heero jumped out of his seat, ready to attack every one of them. "Calm down, Heero. He was just joking," said Wufei, who was trying hard to hide his laughing when Heero glared at him. "I want to go water skiing, anyone coming along with me?" Treize pointed out. "I'm going," said Wufei. "Both of us prefer to stay on the yacht!" Quatre called out from the other side of the boat, Trowa beside him. "I wanna go swimming!" Duo shouted with joy. He always loved swimming in the sea. "I am staying," said Heero in a low tone. "Oh, thinking of Relena?" laughed Duo. Heero gave him a punch on his face. "Heero..." "What?" Heero stared at Duo. "Punching me means you admit it." Duo stood up, clutching Heero's shoulder. Heero turned bright red with embarrassment and everyone on the yacht laughed over the scene uproariously. "Duo, you're such a joker," said Katherine in between her giggles. After a few hours of fun and laughter, everyone was tired. Katherine walked out from the deck with a tray of drinks, saying, "I bet all of you are thirsty now after having so much fun for two hours." "Two hours already, gosh, we'll be late for dinner," exclaimed Duo. "Time to sail back now," said Milliard. Halfway through the return journey, the sky suddenly turned gray, lightning streaking across the sky and gusts of wind buffeting the yacht around. All of them held tightly to the yacht until the storm blew over. "Where are we now, Trowa?" Katherine asked worriedly, her hands clutching her brother's tightly. "I don't know, sis," answered Trowa. "I think we are in the middle of Atlantic Ocean," Treize said thoughtfully. "Milliard, turned back at once!" shouted Duo. "Why?" asked Quatre, surprised by Duo's seriousness. "I have a very bad feeling about this," Duo answered, looking around with deep unease. "Don't worry, he's just joking," Heero said in disbelief. "I only joke when the time is right! Quickly, Milliard, turn back before it's too late," Duo insisted. "I don't be...." Heero shut his mouth when the yacht started to sink. "Jump out, now!" Duo commanded and they did as told. "Swim back before..." The rest of Duo's words were cut off when a whirlpool formed in front of him and all of them were swept into the pool. ************************************************************************** "Ashura-oh, you are spoiling your son," Taishakuten said with a disappointed expression. Ashura-oh smiled indulgently as he replied, "Not really, Tai, Ashura was not the only one who requested to come with us." "Sorry, but I was forced by Ashura," interrupted Yasha. "Oh, I see. Sorry about it then, Yasha," Ashura-oh said with embarrassment as Taishakuten laughed. Sohma, Kendappa and Karura were eating the food they had brought for their picnic on the other side of the river and Kujaku was happily gulping down the food beside Taishakuten. In actual fact, Taishakuten had wanted to spend some quiet time with Ashura-oh by the river. But his hopes had been dashed when Ashura-oh's son Ashura insisted on going with them, Kendappa, Karura and Kujaku also tagging along. "Father, can I go fishing with Ten-oh?" asked Ashura as he pulled his twin brother along by his side. Ashura's graceful movements had attracted Yasha's attention. Yasha smiled with contentment over his graceful lover. "Fine with me, Ashura," Ashura-oh answered. With that, Ashura dashed off with Ten-oh. "Their feelings towards each other turned out to be better than we thought, don't you think so, Taishakuten?" asked Ashura-oh happily as he turned towards him. "Indeed..." Taishakuten answered by giving Ashura-oh a passionate kiss. Sohma's face turned bright red but she continued eating, albeit a little more desperately. Kendappa smiled, took out her harp and started to play some romantic drivel in response to the two lovers in action. Yasha just ignored the whole scene, while Kujaku, after deciding he should give them their privacy, stood up and walked towards a big tree, where he lay down to nap. Karura took out a book to read, blocking out the rest of them. __________________________________________________________________________ "How many fish have you caught, Ten-oh?" asked Ashura. "Five," answered Ten-oh. "How many did you catch, brother?" "Three, I'm not a good fisher," Ashura said. "At least you are the best fighter I've known." Ten-oh smiled. Suddenly, they heard a scream. Both of them thought immediately, "Someone needs help!" Ashura stood up, only to be knocked back down by Duo from above. "Sorry!" came out of Duo's mouth. Ten-oh was shocked over the scene, when he had gathered his wits about him, Trowa, Quatre and Wufei had fallen into the water, splashing Ten-oh, Ashura and Duo wet. Unluckily for Wufei, he got hooked by Ten-oh's fishing rod, which made all of them blast out into laughter. When Ryu-oh arrived for the fun, Katherine unexpectedly fell into Ryu-oh's arms. In order to repay him for rescuing her, she kissed him on his cheek. "Bump!" Katherine landed painfully on the ground as Ryu-oh rubbed his cheek disgustedly. "What a hero," Katherine said mockingly and Ryu-oh covered his reddened face with his hands. Kendappa stopped playing her harp when Treize fell onto the food. Karura, who was reading her book, screamed. Both of them laughed when the wine spilled all over him. As for Sohma, she was still embarrassed by the scene that had taken place just now. Milliard found himself hanging from a tree branch with Kujaku below. To him, screaming for help would be horribly embarrassing, so he tried to think of a way to get down from the tree by himself. Kujaku, on the other hand was wondering how a girl hanging from a tree could be so calm. The branch broke -- "Oh dear," both of them thought absently -- and Milliard fell onto Kujaku. When the stars cleared from Kujaku's vision, all he could see was gleaming platinum hair framing smooth skin and the bluest eyes he had ever seen. "What a beautiful lady." Then he bent forward to kiss him. Milliard gave him a fist in his face and scrambled off him, shouting, "I'm a man, you asshole!" Kujaku just stared at him, shocked speechless. Heero fell onto the ground with a loud 'thud' beside Yasha, and rolled over in a crouch, instantly on alert. Yasha jumped up from the ground and Ashura-oh and Taishakuten laughed over Yasha's reaction. Heero looked at the surroundings, and said with a sinking feeling within him, "Shit, don't tell me that we've gone back in time."
