I'm probably gonna have this part be similiar to Parasite Eve. I
really like that game and I have it too. To honestly, I feel kinda
devoted to this fic. I just hope I will be able to complete it.

Day 2: Fusion Part 2
----------------------------------------
[Dreaming Memories 2]
The Matsushima Estate was somewhere in in the outskirts of Tokyo. 19-
year-old Seiichirou Aoki had came over to visit his best friend. He
had good news to tell her. Once he arrived at the mansion, Seiichirou
rung the doorbell and waited. The door was soon opened by 16-year-old
Ayane Matsushima who wore a her hair up in a pigtail. She also had a
white shirt, black vest, and a long brown skirt. Ayane wore no shoes.
"Seiichirou-san?"
"Good afternoon, Ayane-chan." Seiichirou smiled. He wore a white
turtleneck with a blue sweater over it, brown pants, and black shoes.
"Oniisan! So nice of you to come here." Stepping aside, she let her
friend enter the estate. Once inside, Seiichirou took off his shows
and made his way into the living room. It was a good thing he knew
this place. Ayane offered him a seat. They both sat down on the
couch near a crystal-table.
"Where are your parents?"
"My father went to Europe and my mother is out in the city shopping
for new groceries. She told me that in case you come by, please make
yourself at home."
"I appreciate that."
"Well, you're the only one who's allowed inside so far." Ayane
smirked. "So what would you like to talk about?"
"Well, I....." Seiichirou began to blush. "I just asked Shimako to
marry me...."
"You did?!" Jumping up from her seat, Ayane went over to her best
friend and hugged him. "That's wonderful, Oniisan!"
"Arigatou...."
The young girl let go of Seiichirou and sat back down besides
him. "Well? Did she accept it?"
"Hai." He blushed even more.
"I knew it!" Ayane was so happy for her best friend. She was glad to
that he would be engaged. "When do you plan to get married?"
"In two years."
"I see." Sighing, Ayane fixed some tea for both of them. "Well, I'm
glad you decided to propose to Shimako. It'll be wonderful seeing
you two together."
"And I couldn't of done it without your help." Seiichirou just kept
smiling at her. Then he took a cup and drunk his Jasmine tea. "If
it weren't for your advice, I wouldn't of gotten the courage to ask
my girlfriend to marry me."
"Hai...." Ayane drunk her tea and smiled. "I'm glad I gave you that
advice. I'll always be your best friend, Oniisan."
Both giggled and kept drinking their tea in happiness.
Two years had passed since the wedding began. Seiichirou and Shimako
had gotten married. Their family and friends celebrated their
marriage. Ayane was very happy for them and hoped nothing more than
peace and eternal happines for them......
/May you be happy forever with Shimako, Oniisan..../
[End of Dreaming Memories 2]
Ayane Matsushima woke up in her silk bed. She sat up and looked
around in her nearly luxurious bedroom. Ten years of being rich and
famous was enough for her since she became an actress. But that
never made her forget her friends and family. She always had time
for them, especially her best friend Seiichirou.
She remembered when she was first met him. Personally, she always
thought of Seiichirou as a brother she never had, but no more than
that. They would spend time with each other but then Shimako came
along. And Ayane was usually jealous of her until she got over it.
/Well, you should consider yourself happy that they both got married.
If it weren't for your advice then you probably should of kept
Seiichirou to yourself.... Then again, you weren't ready to have a
relationship yet..../
Ayane sighed. Maybe it was true. She wasn't willing to give herself
to a man because there was so many things she wanted to do. At one
time, Ayane tried singing but she left that to Naomi instead. She
had gave up on the dream and worked with Seiichirou at Asuka as his
co-assisstant for ten years. Then she quited after becoming an
upcoming actress for a movie called `Life or Death'. The director
thought her acting was incredible. Soon her dream turned into
reality. But as long as she stayed clean of her reputation, Ayane
was alright.
The alarm clock suddenly rung, bringing Ayane to mumble and reach
for it so she could shut it up. She almost fell out of her large
bed and got up. Turning off her alarm clock, she yawned and went
over to her closet, pulling out one of her clothes.
---------------------------------
Seishirou Sakurazuka arrived at the museum and found Takara and
Kaneda waiting at the cafeteria for someone. He made his way over
there and put on his usual greeting smile. "Hello there."
Takara looked up and saw her friend. "Ohayo, Seishirou-san!"
Kaneda also looked up and smiled. "I see you decided to join us?"
"Naturally." Sitting besides Takara, the assassin was kept his eyes
on his friend. "So what's been up so far?"
"Oh, we're just sitting here waiting for my friend to appear so we
can have our conversation."
"A collegue, perhaps Kaneda?"
"Hai." Kaneda was playing with his pen while waiting patiently.
Takara, however, folded her arms and buried her head into it. She
was tired. Completely tired. "What's taken him so long?"
"We've along been here for 15 minutes, Takara."
"So? Didn't your collegue say that he'd be down here in 7 minutes?"
Takara yawned. "I'm starting to get sleepy here."
Seishirou found himself chuckling. He was already quite amused with
what he was seeing here. Then again, it was the only way he'd forgot
what /Kamui/ said to him back at the Government Building. Soon an
officer approached them and bowed slowly. All three visitors turned
to him.
"I am sorry, but Mr. Ozaki will not be able to talk with you."
Kaneda's eyes widen in shock. "But why? I've already called him and
made a schedule for our visit."
"He's been busy lately with his research."
A sigh of disappointment came out of the man's mouth as he got up. "I
see. Tell Ozaki that I'll see him later...." Without letting the
officer respond, Kaneda stepped out of the cafeteria leaving Takara
and Seishirou to wonder at his sudden behavior.
"Poor Kaneda. I guess he wanted to see Ozaki that much...." Takara
sighed and left the room, along with the Sakurazukamori following
behind her in silence.
--------------------------------------
Kamui Shirou had woke up from his sleep. Taking one glance at the
window, he noticed the snow had stopped falling down. He yawned and
sat straight up in his bed, though he still wanted to sleep more.
Kamui was glad that Nokoru offered him and his fellow Seals a week
before the Final Day. It was the least he could do.
"I wonder if the others are up....." Yawning once more, Kamui got
out of his bed and made his way towards the door. Suddenly, there
was yelling heard from the other side of the door. It sounded like
Arashi.
"What do you mean `you don't love me anymore'? I thought you did!"
It was Arashi. Kamui slightly opened the door and saw her with
Sorata in the hallway.
"I know I kept saying that to you, but now I realize that I don't."
Sorata's voice was calm and quiet. But his eyes were filled with
sadness.
"How could you say that? I just told you last night that I really
liked you and now you're choosing not to love me? Why, Sorata?"
"The truth is...I've already found someone else."
"You did? Who?!" Arashi was now pissed. Her eyes filled with an
anger she had never felt before.
"I can't tell you.... Please forgive me...." After that, Sorata
turned away and walked to the edge of the stairway. Behind him,
Arashi slumped to the ground and began to cry. The other Seal
disappeared down the steps. She had finally realized that she
loved him. But now, he was no longer in love with her. If only
she didn't take too long....
Kamui had watched the entire thing and was shocked to see that
Sorata, the monk who kept claiming that he would die for the woman
he loved: Arashi, decided not to be with her anymore. He opened
the door all the way and ran over to Arashi's side, kneeling
towards her. "Arashi-san?"
Arashi noticed Kamui wrapping on arm around her. She didn't care at
the moment. She kept crying as if she had a very large chip on her
shoulder. Finally, she buried her face in Kamui's chest and clutched
at his night shirt. Sobs were heard throughout the entire hallway.
Kamui wonded if anyone else had heard. No one had popped out of
their rooms so far.
/This is awful. How could Sorata-kun just break her heart like that?
Wasn't he willing to die for her?/
Whatever the reason, Kamui was going to find out why Sorata did this.
Even if it meant forcing him to tell the truth....
--------------------------------------
Somewhere in the city, Takara, Kaneda, and Seishirou were heading
back to the mansion until they decided to stop over at a local food
shop. Once Kaneda parked his car, all three got out and entered
Tomoko's Sunshine Food Shoppe.
They sat near a table besides the water fountain and waiting for a
waiter to come by. Takara sighed once more. "Well, I guess our plan's
been blown off because of Ozaki still on his research. Just what was
he working on anyway?"
"I have no idea, Takara-san. I wish I knew." Seishirou kept his
slight smile.
"I know." Kaneda spoke in a low tone. He was still disappointed, but
didn't seem that angry. "Ozaki's doing a research on some religious
artifact he had found ten days ago at Mt. Fuji."
"An artificat? What was it about?" Takara got suddenly interested.
"Basically it's based on the Final Days of Earth."
"Really?" Seishirou was now interested. This should probably be worth
being amused, if not exciting. "Can you give us some details about it?"
Taking a deep sigh, Kaneda began to speak. "Well, it's not much but
I'll try explaining it. From what I heard from Ozaki, in the year 1582,
after the fall of Nobunaga Oda's reign, two Buddhist priests created
some kind of crest with a dragon engraved on it. It was called the
Serpentine Crest. Rumor had it that the crest had mystical powers. But
it was just rumor. The crest, however, was put in some temple far away
in the mountains so no one would try to find. The only ones who were
there guarding the crest was a omnyouji named Natsumi. She was entrusted
with the duty of protecting the Serpentine Crest from harm. And because
of that, no one was allowed up those mountains. But then one day, a
samurai found her and they both got married. Natsumi gave birth and
decided that in order to protect the crest...."
Trailing off, Kaneda tried to remember what Ozaki told him. "Oh yeah.
Natsumi casted a spell sealing the crest inside her firstborn. This
was the only way she knew so far."
"So what happened to the firstborn?" Takara asked after the waiter
had gave them menus.
"From what I know so far, Natsumi's first child Hiro left the temple
and was rumored to have died giving birth to the crest. Hiro was a
girl, actually. The Serpentine Crest could only be born from a female.
I guess that's what Natsumi's spell was."
"What about Hiro?"
"Like I said, she probably died after giving birth to the crest. But
it was never found."
"So what did Ozaki find if not the crest since you said it was
probably a rumor?"
"A scroll. About the Final Days of Earth near an abandoned temple."
Taking a minute to breath, the three began taking their order. Once
they were done, the waiter came back and took down whatever they
wanted on the menus. Then he took them and left to get their food.
Takara and Seishirou looked at Kaneda, waiting for him to continue.
"Anyway, the scroll Ozaki found basically explained about the End of
the World. It said `When the Sun sets in the West....And the Moon
rises in the East, Fire shall appear in the Sky, along with
neverending Ocean of Stars. Life shall be either nourished or
destroyed once the Gate of Judgment is Opened.....' That's all he
told me so far...."
Takara was amazed by this. "Whoa....that was very interesting."
"I found it very amusing myself....." Seishirou took a pack of
cigarettes out and placed one in his mouth. He didn't care if
anyone told him if there was no smoking in the building. Basically,
what he had just heard from Kaneda seemed quite interesting. The
rumors of the Serpentine Crest and the scroll describing the End of
the World. It all seemed so new to him.
/I guess now I might have to look into Kaneda's information about
that crest. If I may be right, the part of a female giving birth to
the crest seemed too familiar with what I heard from Kanoe so far..../
And as soon as he was done eating, Seishirou himself would have to go
back to the Government Building for further explaination about the
Magami Clan, one way or another....
End of Day 2: Fusion Part 2
Okay, I think I went overboard with this one. Don't blame me, I've
been through hell with writer's block already. Still more to come.
