Author's notes: I was reading a few fanfics and thought about the
clans portrayed in X: Sakurazuka and Sumeragi. This basicaly involves
some of the Dragons of Heaven and Earth. I forgot which volume it
takes after but I'll let ya know during it. This is a dsiclaimer. The
characters of X belong to Clamp. And my characters belong to me.

Prologue: Meeting with the Sakura Tree
Rain. The most wonderful part of life was rain. Probably the main
reason why people remain happy even when they go through bad times.
It was the most powerful thing in the world. A young girl stood in
the midst of the rain while in Ueno Park. She had silver hair and
blue eyes. Her aqua kimono was soaking wet. A large lily pad was in
her hair. She glanced around Ueno Park, examing the trees, benches,
and playgrounds.
But there was one thing that seemed so familiar to her. The young
girl's eyes were filled with confusion and fascination at the same
time.
The Sakura Tree. The most wondeful part of death was the sakura tree.
Proabably the main reason why people were so afraid to go near it.
They felt it meant dying. the young girl saw it that way.
".....life and death....what a beautiful cycle...."
A tear suddenly appeared in her left eye and ran down her cheek. She
continued to stare at the Sakura Tree until her eyes got watery. Then
she turned away and broke down crying. Tears stream down her face even
though it was still raining. Lightning and thunder came afterwards.
"Father....."
There was a sudden loud noise behind her. The young girl turned and
noticed a tall woman with white hair and a black kimono. Her eyes were
were bloody red. Her skin as pale as the young girl's.
"Are you alright, Mikoto?"
Mikoto stood up and stared at the tall woman before her. "It's been
600 years since I returned back here. Why now after going through so
much misery?"
"It's been 608 years actually, Mikoto." The tall woman kept her
distance between herself and the shorted girl.
Mikoto smirked and wiped at her face. "Must you always try to correct
stuff, Yoko?"
Yoko laughed. "Hey, it's my hobby! What else did you expect
me to say besides that?"
Once again, she laughed vigoriously. But Mikoto couldn't bring
herself to follow her friend. She turned back to the Sakura Tree
and sighed. "That tree's been there for almost 800 years now...."
Yoko joined her and stared at the tree with pity. "Yeah. And not
once has it started to crumble..."
"It's all because of the Sakurazukamori Clan." Mikoto spoke hoarsely.
"I know. But aren't the Sumeragi Clan still enemies with the
Sakurazuka Clan?"
"Yes."
"I see. Well, we better get back to the old manor before /he/ returns
again...."
Mikoto, facing Yoko once more, had a disturbing look on her face.
"Yeah, let's go."
Soon both females ran from the tree and went deep into the forest.
They leaped across the huge river and saw an old mansion up ahead.
Yoko ran to the door first and opened it.
"It's been awhile since anyone used this place. I wonder why those
Sumeragi people abandoned it."
"You'll find out sooner or later..."
Yoko escorted the younger-looking girl inside the manor and followed
behind. After that, she closed the door.
The rain kept pouring down in Ueno Park until the next day.....

Ayanosuke- "Beyond Eternity describes what human beings yearn for if
they had nothing left to lose. If someone had something the other
person didn't have, how far would he/she go to get it? Would they
risk their life or ignore the desire?"
