Evil Fanfic: Dragon Ball/ X The Game of the Fated Day On a fateful day in 1999, the battle was fought to determine the fate of the earth. Two sides fought in this battle the Dragons of Heaven and the Dragons of Earth. Whatever happened on that day though, the earth has changed since that day. The entire planet was poisoned as a result of the fated day, and the earth began to decay as a result. A prophetess known as kanoe explained that the Earth's "decay" was the result of the Dragons of Heaven also known as the Seven Seals, winning on the fateful day. The Earth, according to Kanoe was not allowed to change, therefore it began to slowly destroy itself. She tried in an attempt to save the planet by calling on the Dragons of Earth, known as the Seven Minions to fight the Seals. Not much more details came from Kanoe about the fated day, as it was suspected that she eventually took her own life over her failure... the failure of the Seven Minions. The poisonous dust blowing over the endless wasteland, that covered all of the planet, was kept outside a small group of buildings in a city once known as Satan City. Inside a building that belonged to the Capsule Corp, which was nothing but a home to many of the few survivors on the planet, a last ditch effort to save the planet was in action. This would require building a time machine, to go back to the Fated day. Going back to the Fated Day was the only way to save the earth from deterioration, for seven artifacts of power, known as the Dragon Balls could not prevent the Earth from dying. The one chosen to go back to the fated day, was one called Trunks. He prepared himself for this day, most of his life. He trained with his father Vegeta, his rival Son Goku, and the mysterious Piccolo for the battle of the fated day. Though the poisons of the planet eventually claimed both Vegeta and Goku, Trunks was determined to change the past so that this would never had happen. Trunks faced the time machine built by his mother Bulma, as a door to his destiny. "Are you sure I can't come along?" asked a young girl named Pan. "No way, Absolutely no way, are you going there Pan-chan," a woman called Chi Chi who was her grandmother called out, "We don't even know what this will do to Trunks, it's absolutely unsafe." "O-Kaa-san you're absolutely sure about this?" Trunks asked. "Do you have any idea how long I worked on the calculations for this!!" Bulma replied back, "It'll work, It'll work trust me, but then we'll know once you get there... You're set to go back a week before the Fated day." "Kaa-san can't I come along with Trunks-kun?" Son Goten the close friend Trunks jokingly whined to Chi Chi. "No you can't, we don't want the both of you wrecking up the past." "I don't find that funny," Pan complained. "Okay, I'm ready over here," Son Gohan announced. Gohan was the son of Goku who was affected the most by Goku's death, but he contributed to effort by training Trunks, and in the building of the time machine. Trunks stepped to the portal that was beckoning him, he paused and turned around, "This may be the last time, I ever see any of you, and when I do all of you will probably be different from what you are." With a step forward, Trunks disappeared as the portal closed down with him, awaiting him was the fated day in the year 1999, the End of the World as anyone knew aobut the world before. Deep underground in a secret lab that happened to be under the Sunshine 60 building, which would be a major location in the upcoming fated day. "How's the progress on Nutaku?" a scientist asked. "Just fine, better than we expected in fact," replied another scientist, who was known as Dr. Gero, "Personally I'm more interested in cyborgs." "And why is that?" "Genetics, has always been unstable in my point of view." "But Nutaku is the perfect genetic accomplishment up to this day." "This day perhaps, but technology advances rapidly," Gero replied. The skies darkened around Tokyo Tower, the location of the last battle on the fated day. Trunks found him self right above the tower, looking down on Tokyo from far above. While most people would be shocked if they found themselves suddenly appearing in the air, Trunks floated in the sky with the Bukujutsu technique which became natural for him. The presence of many powers beyond that of normal humans was felt by Trunks. Concentrating on the various Chi around Tokyo, he felt one that was similiar to his own. The Chi was that of one who, used their Chi like Trunks did. Setting off to the presence, Trunks thought through whether the Chi presence would belong to Dragon of Earth or of Heaven. Kamui Shirou, was the one who would ultimately decide the fate of the world, as it seemed. But to him he felt his fate was being controlled, by others. He loved and swore to protect Kotori and Fuuma Monou with his life, but ironically he failed in that ultimately. Kotori died at the hands of her brother, who at first seemed to be controlled by a demonic outside presence. But Kamui began to think that Fuuma must have always been that way, since it was destined according to the prophet Hinoto. That the Fuuma that Kamui knew before was nothing but a puppet, of the Evil Fuuma that now only existed. The Evil Fuuma would have to be Fuuma's true personality. There was nothing left for Kamui to defend, now the only thing he could do now is to seek revenge. Revenge against Fuuma for murdering Kotori and the Fuuma he knew. Coming to this long decision that Kamui suddenly made, was probably mainly due to the influence of a seal, known as Subaru Sumeragi. Subaru went through an experience similiar to what Kamui has gone through, and convinced Kamui to accept what happened to him. With Kamui's decision to fight Fuuma and the Dragons of Earth, the fated day was now on its way. "What is this?" Kanoe thought to herself as a vision through her dream came to her, "One who comes from the future to fight the Dragons of Heaven... It means that my Minions have lost... But then this could be just what we need," she pondered as she saw an image of young man with purple hair going down to both sides of his head, with a part of his hair tied back. The man carried a sword on his back and wore grey pants, a black shirt, and a blue jacket that curiously had the words "Capsule Corp" on it. "With some manipulation, I can make him loyal to my service, but in fighting the Seals, he is already serving me," Kanoe speculated. To be continued..... Author's notes (If anyone cares): For Dragon Ball it takes place around the time of GT, except that none of the events from GT ever happened. All events before have possibly happened in this timeline. X well I already said its one week before the big battle.
