Sailormoon X Part 2

Silence. Dust rises as buildings crumble and dissolve in flames. The inhabitants of these buildings flee wherever they can find safety. No escape. Death. Complete silence. A lone being stands in the middle of this destruction. "It's time." *************************************************************************************

Kamui awoke, startled. "What was that dream? Ite-" He felt the lump on his head and checked his surroundings. "I'm at home? But how? I distinctly remember someone landing on me, but how did I get back home?" He rose out of bed and walked around the room. He noticed he was still in his school uniform, but the jacket was taken off and placed on his desk. "Well, at least they didn't undress me." He walked over to his mirror to see the size of the lump on his head. He touched it, "Itee- Still hurts."

"Oh, good you're awake." Kamui turned around swiftly to see a high school boy not much older than him sitting in his window sill.

"Who the hell are you? How'd you get up here?" Kamui struck up a defensive pose.

"I am Daisuke Saiki. I am a messenger sent by Hinoto-hime." Kamui looked at the boy with a look of disbelief. Daisuke returned his look with one that didn't want to bother with this kind of thing, Wind abruptly rushed into the room knocking Kamui off his feet and onto the floor. "She sees the future and the fate of us all. But it is her most recent vision that brings me here to find you." Kamui climbed up from his position on the floor. Slightly confused as to what was going on.

"Why did you come to find me then? Is the world going to end or something? Oh no, wait, I have it. I'm the only one that can prevent it right?" Daisuke looked back at him a bit shocked.

"Well, yes." Kamui facefaulted. Daisuke knelt down to Kamui. "You are the leader of the Sailor Senshi. Guardians of this galaxy, sent from the Moon Kingdom after it's demise, reincarnated on earth to begin your lives anew. And also to continue to fight against the dark forces that threaten this galaxy." He continued, "I am one of two guardians that train the senshi to fight these dark forces." He looked up at Kamui and pulled a watch out of his pocket. He held it out for Kamui.

"What's this?" Kamui took the watch and looked over it. It was a gold watch, with a cresent moon in the middle keeping the time. Wait a minute... "This watch is set for the wrong time. It says it's 13:00. There is no 13:00." Daisuke got up and put the watch on Kamui. Much to Kamui's protest and dislike.

"It's supposed to be set that way. It's magical. Now raise you hand and shout Moon Power Transform!"

"Moon Power Transform?!" A flash of light enveloped the room.

Downstairs Kamui's mother started. "Kamui?" She ran up the stairs and towards the light. Her face went pale as she opened the door to his room.

"My Queen." Daisuke bowed again, this time to Kamui's mother. Kamui looked back and forth between the two. Something was off here. Then he looked at himself.

"Waaahhh! What am I wearing?!" He examined himself in the mirror. He was in an outfit that looked like a cross between a Sailor Fuku and a Cheerleader uniform. With a blue collar, and red high heel boots. He screamed in horror at the sight of himself. He then glared at Daisuke and lifted him off the ground in fury. "Get me out of this thing!" His mother put a hand on his shoulder.

"Kamui, please calm down and let me explain." Kamui reluctantly obeyed his mother. She sat him on the bed and held his hand. "You are the reincarnated princess of the moon. And I am the Queen. Long ago, we were attacked by dark forces that destroyed the place where we lived, the Moon Kingdom. During that battle, you lost your life. As did everyone else. I was the only survivor. In my grief I used the Sacred Sword's ultimate power to destroy the enemy. The amount of energy it took to wield the sword took most of my strength. But before I died I used the last of the sword's power to send you all to earth, to begin your lives all over again. But in case evil were to come again I also gave you the power to defend yourselves." She laughed. "I'm sorry. I wasn't expecting that you'd be reincarnated as a boy." Kamui sweat dropped. His mother took on a suddenly serious face. "Kamui, I wasn't supposed to be reincarnated like the rest of you. The only reason I am here now and have been able to raise you is because of the Sacred Sword's power. It is inside of me. Kept there for the promised day. It used me as a vessel to carry out it's part in destiny. And now, that the time grows near it is time for me to die."

"Die?" Kamui laughed nervously. "Uh. This is a joke right? A dream right?" He snapped his fingers and stood up. "This is a dream. Why else would I be wearing a skirt? And not have my own mother freak out about it. Yeah that's it, so then all I have to do to get out of this is click my heels three times and say something weird." He closed his eyes and clicked his heels. "On batarei ya sowaka..." He opened his eyes and nothing changed. His mother just stared at him, sad.

"Kamui. I'm sorry." She began to glow as she walked towards him and gave him a hug. She nodded to Daisuke. Daisuke then grabbed Kamui and pulled him away from his mother. Kamui fought him.

"What are you doing?! Let me go!" He reached out for his mother. "Mother!" She continued to glow brighter, and flames sprang up in front of her. She lifted in the air, her clothes burnt off. She reached into her stomach with her fingers, blood spurting out. Slowly she procured a sword. She held it before her. Kamui watched in horror.

"Kamui, you must follow the stars of your destiny. Follow this man he will guide you. You must choose the fate." And with that her body began to vibrate and she exploded. The sword still levitating, glowing with power.

"MOTHER!" Kamui fell to his knees. "Mother!" He stretched out and crawled over to her head. He lifted it up and hugged it. "Mother!" Daisuke just watched him, a sad expression on his face. Kamui sobbed.

Outside on a neighboring roof, two people watched the young man who was to be their leader cry. "It's started."

Behind them, unknowingly, they were watched by six others. "Fate. Kismet. It will lead him along the most cruel path. This destiny has been foreordained." They disappeared.

Someone watched this scene play inside a dream. A middle aged woman, with long, wavy, ebony hair. A symbol glowed on her forehead, as she sat in a chair her eyes closed. A man entered the room where she sat. "Kanoe, has it begun?" The tone of voice was cold and devoid of compassion.

"Yes, the holy sword has appeared as prophesied in the ancient tale." The symbol disappeared from Kanoe's forehead as she opened her eyes. "Should I send someone to go retrieve it?"

"Of course. The Messiah is getting impatient."

"Then I will do so." Kanoe bowed to the dark figure before her and left the room. The dark figure sat in the chair she had previously occupied and smiled. "Finally, It's time."

Elsewhere a girl tossed and turned in her sleep. "Kamui."

Hee-hee. I was going to work on Karen the Matchmaker, but then I had this really good idea as to why Kamui wears a skirt. Besides, he was a tad too happy, so I decided to fix that as well. Err, never mind, I think I just confused myself with my own babble.
