I actually managed to get this written even with four hours of
homework everyday! It's a miracle! (Not quite anyway..)
Anyway, this is actually not a crossover, believe it or not. It's
the result of reading a Boogiepop Dual manga and then reading a X
manga right after it.
I hope that you enjoy this chapter anyway!

Sweet Oblivion Chapter 1
X Fanfic
It seemed to be a pretty normal day for Kamui.
Waking up to Sorata yelling in his ear and then blasting the monk for
it on accident, he had then suffered through a very bad breakfast,
only to get up five minutes later to start running to school.
Keiichi had joined him after three minutes of running and was now
cheerfully babbling about something, not noticing that he was being
ignored.
Kamui was silently cursing about his luck, about his friends, and
about his life, totally ignoring everyone and everything around him,
including Keiichi, the school's clock, and the other students running
to school.
They made it to the school's steps with only two minutes to go, with
Keiichi still babbling and Kamui ignoring him and generally anything
else that breathed, walked, or even stood.
'Kamui!'
Ksmui blinked, hearing his name but not hearing it at the same time.
He glanced behind him, seeing only students rushing to get to their
classes before it was too late, and returned his attention to in
front of him, deciding that it had just been his imagination.
After all, he only knew one person that could speak like that, and
she was under the Diet Building, hopefully never to leave. He had a
sudden picture of Hinoto floating around haunting him, and he shook
his head immediately, trying to get the picture out of his mind.
"SHIROU-KUN, WATCH OUT FOR-"
Something very hard hit him right in the face, fully scattering his
thoughts and his books, and he fell, the last thing he could see as
he blacked out being Keiichi diving toward him.
His last thought was that he desperately hoped that Keiichi was not
going to try mouth-to-mouth resuscitation while he was unconscious.
"Shirou-kun!"
Keiichi barely managed to catch his small friend, almost falling
himself, and ,looking down into his friend's face, suddenly noticed
how peaceful Kamui looked.
For a few seconds, he thought that Kamui was dead, but a quick check
showed that Kamui was still breathing, softly and barely but still
breathing; though there was a big bruise on the small teenager's face.
"I'm so sorry!"
Keiichi looked to his left and noticed a tall girl who was crying,
her own books scattered down the now empty steps with her kneeling on
the step beside him.
"I didn't see him!" The girl sniffed and rubbed her eyes. "I didn't
mean to hit him with the door! It was an accident!"
"Uh..." Keiichi stared at her and tried to figure out why he had
never seen her around the school before. It was a big school,, but
he always remembered who was who around the school, even if he
sometimes mixed names up.
Then he glanced down at Kamui and immediately forgot about it.
"I better get him to the nurse!"
The still crying girl helped him stand up and held the door open for
him, careful not to hit either of the two boys with the door. Then
she closed the door behind him, still apologizing.
She closed the door and smiled, leaning against the door to the
school. Her tears disappeared as she started laughing, her laugh
carefree but somehow meaningless, all of her politeness and caring
gone.
"Humans are such idiots!"
Still laughing, she vanished, leaving only an echo.
Tamashii froze, feeling a chill. He glanced up, hearing a strange
whispering sound that echoed and re-echoed, reminding him of his
home. He remembered his dark, almost empty home, and shivered.
'I won't go back! Not until this is done!'
'Humans are such idiots!'
He froze again, hearing the cold, uncaring voice.
A voice that he knew.
"Consequence?" His voice shook and he looked around nervously. "Is
that..you, Consequence?"
Silence answered him and he relaxed, deciding that it was his
imagination.
A hand touched his shoulder and he jumped, trying to run.
"Tamashii."
Almost sheepishly, Tamashii turned around and blushed, not wanting to
look Oblivion in the eye. He coughed and blushed, mumbling, "It's
one of those days.."
Oblivion nodded. "Consequence is here."
"She is?!!" Tamashii perked up. "How is she? Which side is she
on? Where is she? Is she still mad at me? Did she leave her
weaponry at home? When-"
Oblivion pressed his hand against Tamashii's mouth again, making
Tamashii blush. "We met and she is...exactly the same."
"Oh." Tamashii glanced at Oblivion's face nervously. "So she's
still mad at me and- OBLIVION!!!"
Oblivion blinked and figured that anyone and everyone within five
miles was now deaf, including him.
"YOU HAVE A BRUISE!!!"
Tamashii pounced.

Finally getting something going on. And something is definetly
starting, other than a headache for me.
I'll try to get the second chapter out next week unless my teachers
start up again (Well..two days off anyway so I should have something
done.)
